Snack instead of bf in the afternoon?

Hi all. My LO is almost 10 months old. He still has 4 breastfeeds a day as well as three meals (bottomless pit, this one!). This is a question as a one off - my eldest has a couple of important appointments today so I'm out and about with him and my mum is looking after my little one. I won't be here for his afternoon feed.

If I express these days what I manage to get wouldn't feed a gnat and he's never that bothered in the afternoon anyway, only drinks a bit and only because I offer. Is it ok for him to have a healthy snack instead?

Yep snack and a drink is fine, he will make up for it when you get back.

Yes it's fine! Lots of babies don't feed during the day because their mum is at work - they just have food and water, then BF when mum is home.
