snowsuits and car seats

so i know that LOs cant wear snowsuits in their car seats due to air being forced out during an accident but what about fleecy ones. My girls have two types, one puffy one and another furry/fleecy one. I wouldnt say the furry one was puffy or any different to the jacket they were in car, just obviously an all in one rather than just a jacket. Can they wear the fluffy ones in the car?

Yeah I think the rule is that you shouldn't have to extend The straps.

The way to test is to put Lo in snowsuit in the seat. Adjust the straps so they fit with the snowsuit. Then take Lo out of te snowsuit and put in seat without adjusting the straps. If the straps are too loose, wearing the snowsuit in the carseat is dangerous.

Wow you learn something new every day. I didn't know that. My little one doesn't go in his car seat with his coat or anything too thick on because he won't fit. Didn't realise you wasn't supposed to anyway! x

I never knew this! Sophie always wore her suit in her seat! So glad Evelyn's is still to big for her havnt done it yet, thanks for bringing I to my attention xx
