So Angry today!!!!!

Firstly apologies as im in a terrible mood and feeling very angry and bitter about the whole ltttc thing today.

I had a scan this morn for my IUI, the follis are not quite mature enough so i need to go back tomorrow for another scan then back again fri potentially for iui or failing that sat or mon. Do they think i don't work?!!

Not only is it awkward to keep taking time out of work but endless hosp visits are expensive, not to mention mentally draining. I've sat here since coming into work and done very little because i just can't concentrate!!! My focus is still in the hospital and thinking about tomorrow.

To make matters worse everyone at work or their spouse seems to be preggars!! And they have no awareness of what i'm going through, to the point where one father-to-be told me today to "cheer up as nothing can be that bad".....errr HELLO! Yes it can- and as if you would understand as your OH got preg within a few months and don't realise how lucky you are!

I know the whole work thing is soooooo difficult. I have run out of excuses as to why I have to keep going hospital.

Yes, it's definitely bad enough that you're trying your best to get pregnant, going thru the stress of expensive alternative options (when getting pregnant is supposed to be free!), and having to deal with pregnant women you just can't escape!

I think you displayed tremendous patience.......sometimes it's great just to reply really snarky and make people realise what they've said.
It's not something i do often, i try to be a good person and not a bitter Lttcer but sometimes it makes me feel really good to say it how it is and watch their face ' yes it is pretty bad, i've had 3 internal vaginal ultrasound already this week and i'm fed up'....he'd never had said that again for sure

*hugs* everyone needs to vent at times and this is the best place for it! People are insensitive especially if they have never had the experiences we have. It sucks and I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

I would love to say that to a male colleague!!!! I only have to tell my male boss that i have 'women's problems' and he lets me go to any appointments any time without question! Bless him.

You're so right, we have to try and be a good person as im sure bitterness will not bring me a little one. Im feeling a bit brighter today and iui tomorrow now so fingers crossed.
