so happy!

am really just so happy. I love this little bundle of cells so much already..it's quite frightening really - if i love it already, how much will I love it when it's big? Or how will I cope if the worst happens?
I worry constantly that something has gone wrong...but there wouild definately be blood then.. yes? It can't just vanish??

I am so excited about being pregnant. I stroke my belly and talk to it already. I beg it to stay in there in the warm and tell it that mummy loves it.
I wander around work with a daft smile. I have already lost my marbles!! hahaha. I can't wait until I can tell people and I can't wait until I have a pod.


I felt we should have a really positive post - I know we're all scared but isn't this THE most exciting adventure? I think I can safely say this is the most bizarre and exciting week of my life.

Have decided to tell my parents this eve and can't wait!!!!

my mum is virtually my best friend, I can't not tell her. gosh I hope it doesnt jinx anything. But I'm just so excited!

I called my mom about 5 minutes after I took the test I just couldn't wait. My mom proceeded to call and wake up half my family (it wasn't even 6 there)

wow! this is great! its soo funny - its exactly what i do.....after seeing the heartbeat after my near miscarriage scan i ma obsessed - i talk to it, tell it not to go anywhere and that mummy and daddy loves it and he is very special and will fine etc etc etc - i feel like an idiot for it but i cant help it..............im at work now and just want to shout it out.......i was very frightened when i started bleeding the other day but luckily all was ok, another scan next week/midwife appointment so fingers crossed - staying positive is all we can do - we HAVE to be happy, for us and for the baby!!!!!! woohoo....................xxxx thanks for brightening up my day! xxxx

i am so excited and nervous to i told my mum, dad and sis and he has told his mum and dad to i am just so worried all the time i tested and got a positive four days early so my period isnt due yet i keep thinking the will get me on monday. i think once monday has been and gone i will still worry but not as much i don't think. i don't know when to make my appointment at the dr's do you need to wait till your two weeks late

I think we all need reminding sometimes to not let the worry take over, if something goes wrong then there's nothing we can do, so lets just enjoy the feeling of being pregnant, it the most exciting time ever, but it's true, nothing compares you for the first time you meet your baby, I just cried and cried I was so happy!!

Lynz - I was unsure when to go see the midwife so i rang doctors and they booked me in straight away, said best to go as soon as possible, get the ball rolling. I went i week after my missed period.
