So Sad :(

This isn't really related to teen pregnancy at all, but I just figured I'd get it off my chest.

Back Story: My parents divorced when I was six. Since then I've lived with my mom and visited my dad on some weekends. Since I've been about 15 (I'm 18 now) I've been going there less and less. My dad lives about 100 miles away (about an hour and a half dive).

Anyways, tonight he's taking my little boy for the weekend. I mean, I know he needs to see his grandson and everything and I trust him with Aiden, but it just makes me sad. I'm not used to not having my baby (who's not even really a baby anymore) around all the time. It's not even the first time he's had Aiden for the weekend. But I just feel so lost when he's gone. And I don't ever go down there anymore. Tonight it's specifically because I have to work, but I don't usually go down there anyways because I do not get along with my stepmom at all. *sigh*

My baby leaves in less than an hour.

maybe you could suggest to your dad that he comes and stays with your for a weekend, without his mrs..
that way you two could have a good old catch up!!

I can't even imagen how much you must miss him! You should try to enough your time alone, he'll be back before you know it and I'm sure he'll love spending time with your Dad

So, I quit crying when my OH took me out to ice cream (I sound like a two year old. ). And I was really busy after that getting ready for work and then going in. I was fine all day until we pulled into my driveway. Then I started bawling again since there's no little boy to come running over to the door because mommy's home.

I think tomorrow I'll probably break down and call my dad to see how Aiden is. I usually don't call, cuz I know if my dad doesn't call me, then nothing's wrong. But grr. Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel better. It's just so weird not having Aiden around though.

oh hugs it would be so hard for me too. nice of you to let him spend time with grandad though, even if you dont like your stepmom. shows real maturity.
