Soakers?

I've seen lots of these fleecy or knitted pants (soakers) - what's the deal with these and why use them instead of a wrap? When use them?

You can use them instead of a wrap anytime you like, the idea is that fleece is waterproof anyway and wool can be waterproofed using lanolin. Wool and fleece are very breathable and therefore much better for baby's bum than a PUL wrap.

They are good to use overnight as because they let the air get to the nappy some of the wee on the nappy underneath can evaporate so it lasts a bit longer.
