Started my little one on porridge in the morning. Do you start to reduce the milk when they are taking food?

Not at first. Milk should be first before food, and a priority in the first year :)

Ive beem giving her milk first :) do you usually give like the porridge straight after the milk ot wait a bit?

I always offered milk about an hour or two before a solid meal. It gives them time to digest but without being too hungry when you sit down to a meal.

In time, the amount of milk they want will start to decrease on its own, but there's no hurry. For us, this started around 8-9 months, and our daughter fully dropped her afternoon bottle at around 10 months for a snack.

Hi, I agree. Try a bottle first thing and then porridge an hour or so later. My lo has a bottle at about 6.45 and then his breakfast at about 8am. I still manage to get in about 550ml of formula a day and he has 3 solid food meals a day but he is struggling with the daytime bottle, he is 8.5 months now.
