hi there,
I know I'm not really eligible for this section yet, but I was wondering if I could may be ask some advice please?
DF and I have been TTC for 11 months this month, I have a Dr appointment this coming Monday (after an abortive attempt at seeing the Dr last week ... long story, don't ask ... bloody Dr receptionists!)
I was trying to think of questions but I'm not really sure what I need to be asking? I don't want to get fobbed off with 'your young/not been trying very long/give it time/relax'
I know I need to ask about DF and a SA ... that's a given, in light of his t/c I think its over due really .. but try explaining that to a bloke! I know he will need to request it but I want an idea of what it involves so I can give him instructions and tell him to get on with it!
But for myself what should I be pursuing? I thought may be if I went in actually with an idea of tests that I could have/need etc then I might be in a better position than just waiting for the Dr to offer stuff....
So sorry I've rabbited on, its just I really want to make the most of this appointment, and since DF is in Peru I have to go alone and if I have an idea of what I need to say/ask about then I might not clam up so badly and just end up being fobbed off and then upset. That's what happened last week - I arrived and signed in and then they forgot to call me and I missed the appointment and then when I went up and queried why I had waited an hour I just stood and apologies to the receptionist for being a pain and needing to book a new date
Sorry babbling again ....
