hi im currently 17 weeks pregnant i have my 20 week scan on the 6th of jan, but i have a consultant appointment on friday anyone know why or what to expect????
help please im worried!!

They will measure the parts of the baby on the screen. The first few minutes will look like a whole bunch of blobs of black and white. Then the person doing the scan should let you have a view of baby. Usually it is a very quick peek, most give photos.
