I had my beautiful boy Lucas almost 5 weeks ago and I'm feeling like a bit wobbly mess :(
I'm breastfeeding and have lost the majority of my baby weight but still have 10lbs to go. I had an EMCS and so can't exercise and as I had a fall today any exercise I could do in a couple of weeks has been pushed back.

:hugs: try not to worry.. you've only just had a baby!! Give your body time to rest :) & you rest too.. you'll get back into shape when your really ready Xxx

10lbs is nothing to worry about hun, its the people who gain and maintain their 60lb+ gain who need to worry! we all feel wobbly and saggy after having babies, and for some of us it's a lot more difficult to come to terms with - the loss of your "old" body. It's hard to leave the old body behind and just accept this new body we've ended up with, but try to remember you've done an amazing thing with that body - you created a whole new person with it, every little bit of baby was created and grown by you - that leaves it's mark in more ways than one! I know it's easier said than done, I think of it like a grief-type reaction, you feel some shock or disbelief that your body has changed this way, then that feeling of anguish or even anger and low moods, but eventually you will be able to accept it.... remember to look after yourself hun x

Id absolutely LOVE to only have 10lbs to lose...i put on 5 stone with my pregnancy, ive lost 2.5 stone and still got another 2.5 to go....i also had a c section and my tummy is a huge apron of skin...i have faith that if i do the right things then i will regain my slimish figure 10.5 stone b4 pregnant....it ruins me when i try on my old clothes and can only get them up to my knees....Oh well...i have a beautifull baby to take my mind of myself..

I have joined slimming world and have a running machine so i am slowly losing it....count youself lucky love...10lbs is nowt.xxxxx

Doctors often say it takes 9 months to put it on so allow at least that much to take it off. I do know with my last, at about the 6 month mark all of a sudden so many of the mothers in our mum's group started to look slimmer (myself included). It seemed it was harder in the first few months and then I am not sure if it was the continued breastfeeding or just the right time for our bodies, but a number of the mums seemed to shrink down. Go easy on yourself. It is early days. Don't push yourself as it will set you back further. I am sure with your determination you will get there.
