Hi guys,

I'm currently breastfeeding but I am going back to work after 6 months, cannot express at work so will be moving on to formula between weaning and I need advice.

I would like everybody's opinion on the formula's that you use if that's ok please? may still breastfeed at night so will probably be combi feeding. I'd do a poll on what everyone uses but I have no idea how!!

Thank you

All formulas are just as good as each other in terms of nutrition etc. They all have different blends of prebiotics and different tastes/consistencies though so you may have to try a few to find one your little one likes. I have used Aptamil with both of mine, I have never had any problems with it and found when I was mixed feeding that both of them took it exactly the same as BM.

thank you!! should I try her with the small cartons then rather than buying one of those big tubs?? just so I know which one to go for??

The only problem I would say with trying the cartons is I think they are a bit different to the powdered form. Technically they are the same milk but I know babies that refuse to drink the powder and will only have the ready made stuff which works out very expensive. My little girl isn't keen on the cartons. We started her off on these but now she much prefers to have the powder freshly made! Think the consistency varies! I'd maybe try just one carton then if it's a success go to the powder before lo gets too used to the cartons! Hope this has been helpful and I haven't just rambled on lol xxx
