Soooo doctor *thinks* its a boy

So everyone do a boy dance with me! My first ultrasound is on October 10th. I went from being not so excited to be super excited. hehe

When I laid down on the table yesterday to doc asked if I thought it was a boy or girl. I told him that I've though boy ever since I found out and haven't changed from that. The heartbeat of the baby yesterday was just under 140, whereas 4 weeks ago it was 160. Doc *says* that he thinks it's a boy because of that.

I know its a wives tale but I hope its true!

My baby is also a jerk, moving all around every time the doppler got on him

I feel its mean to call your innocent baby a jerk! Babies are fun & what's the hurry to find out? Pray that you have healthy baby..

Also, heartbeat has nothing to do with gender.. I know at least 10 people whose baby's heartbeat was above 140 bpm & they had baby boy & less than 140 bpm had girls too..

She only said what the doctor had told her?? There was no need to come across nasty..
And also a bit cruel telling her to hope her baby is healthy....
And if she wants to find out the sex of the baby she is gunna be giving birth to months down the line that's down to her.. There maybe other reasons than just "wanting to know the sex" so before you put your two pence in think of people's feelings!!!

Congratulations on your boy Hun! You will have to let us know if doc was right!! Xxx

Unfortunately the doctor is a little silly to say such a thing. There's no truth in the hb old wives tale. I felt all the way through tho that I was having a boy and I am so trust your instinct
