just thought it'd be easier to add any updates in here

Tuesday 17th - wish me luck! MW will be giving me a sweep as long as everything's looking good hopefully it'll get things going x

Thursday 19th - no signs yet sweep doesn't have seemed to make a difference, MW thought I would go into labour yesterday or today but nothing.. got another appointment tomorrow so it looks like i'll have to arrange a date for an induction just incase!

Friday 20th - had some period type pains during the night, not unbearable but enough to make me uncomfortable. seeing the MW at 11am anyway so FX'd she can tell me that this is a sign that labour might be starting! will probably be booking a date for induction too.

Sunday 22nd / 11pm - having some pains that are stronger than the ones I had the other day, making me breathe quite heavily, still not very painful but less bearable than on Friday. hoping things get going tonight!

Monday 23rd 10am - it's my birthday and having contractions every 10 or so minutes lasting for about half a minute.. can't believe my LO might actually be born on my birthday!

Monday 23rd 7pm - contractions are coming about every 7-8 minutes, went in to see MW this afternoon and was 2cm dilated.. was hoping to be a little bit more but MW said it's good progress. she wants me to come in when my contractions are coming every 5 minutes or when they become unbearable. can't believe my LO is almost here! suddenly really emotional and worrying that i've forgotten something. will text Amanda when I go into hospital & she's going to keep you all updated for me

Monday 23rd 9pm - doing everything I can to try and pass the time, getting really restless and hoping that the contractions get closer together really soon, there's no way I can sleep tonight so i'm hoping I can go to the hospital sooner rather than later

Ohhh i went into labour at 5 days over and had him at 6 days overdue! Hope little one gets a wriggle on! I didn't have any signs either apart from some weirdish pains at 4 days over Hopefully you will go soon and not need to be induced xx

thankss MW says i'm contracting very mildly, and I could go into labour anytime now, or it could take a few more days. hoping it's day 6 like you went for a really long walk after seeing the MW & going for another one again later so FX'd that helps!

induction booked for next Thursday just in case x
