I am not usually one to brag but i am just so excited i am going to explode! :happydance:

I think it's a pretty good effort for a premmie!!

What a cutie! LO says "mama" but I don't think she knows what it means yet, I think she's mostly babbling

I feel a little bad for DH, as people have been telling us that his first word is likely be "Dada" but that is not the case at all :\ lol!

Don't feel bad, you're the one who grew him for 9 months and the one who does most of his care!
DH was like "that's not fair!!" when DD started saying mama and I was like ummm hello I had her inside me for 39.5 weeks and I'm the one who spends 24/7 attending to her every need lol

libbylou - so true! I will remember that if DH looks all sad about it again!

Aww bless him. Noah tries to say hello and dada already. I think his first proper word will be hello x

Yeah it seemed like that with my little man too! but then all of a sudden out of no where he has started saying mama! such a spin out.

Damn, can't see it on an ipad. LOs first word said around the same time as yours was dada. It's just so much easier. he's said mama as well but not as easily done as dada. Well done!

How exciting! Can't wait for that first word! Alice's was baby when she met her cousin. DH was gutted, as he'd spent ages saying dadadadadadada at her!

so cute! my two are saying it and I don't know if it they mean it or if it is just babbling but it is so adorable! babababa, mamamamama, dadadada... all the time - best few "words" in the world so far! :) xx
