i get the train to work, hubby is away for 4 nights next week, so i was considering getting a first class ticket so i could get my breakfast and dinner on the train to and from work. figured this would be a nice treat and save me cooking when i get home.

problem is my journey is only about 20mins, does anyone know if this is enough time to get a cooked breakfast or one of the dinners on a virgin train? i suppose a cup of tea would do in the morning, and coming back i usually get on the train about 10mins early anyway...would they start serving before it sets off?

sorry for the silly question i just wondered that's all!

Don't know - if you get the train normally could you wanted to the first class and talk to the steward (I haven't been first class but assume they would have someone serving the food) - it sounds lovely! Hope you are able to find out.
