soy iso?

Your temp doesn't rise until the day AFTER ovulation hun, it actually sometimes dips down during ovulation. It's your basal body temperature that matters which is after you wake up. Your temperature throughout the day does not matter. I don't think you can stop ovulation. Hope you can catch the egg!

thanks hun im freaking out ehehehe dont want to miss our window of opportunity :nope:

the 2nd line is faint almost positive so hoping its telling me its coming in couple days not within the next 2days

how do i upload a pic on here?

Thanks Taylor, that's a great help! Definitely going to pick one up now. I have a FF account that a made a while ago, I'll put it to use! xoxo

Hey, I'm ttc#2 so am on my first cycle of soy, took it cd3-7 120mg and today is cd7.

I got a bfp using soy for my first baby, so fingers crossed! I have pcos so have silly cycles anything from 45-70 days in length. It defo brings o date forward! As I got a bfp last time on cd30, so it did something to me!

does this look positive? i am booked in 3hours to have my u/s and stressing out, DP isnt home for another 3 days, well monday actually :(

It's positive but that doesn't mean you are O'ing now. Just in the next 12 to 36 hours or something like that.

It's anywhere between the time you get your first positive OPK to 48 hours after :flower: xx

well i just went for my u/s and sooo confused, i have about 8-10 follicles that have come up to about 10mm-11mm each on both ovaries and theyre now saying i look polycystic? only two weeks ago these tiny follicles were only 1-2mm each in size? is this normal? or am i just getting a high lh surge because of there being soo many follicles as ive perhaps over stimulated my ovaries?

I don't know about that.. but I do know your body can try and ovulate and fail giving you positive OPKs and fertile CM, etc. Maybe it's from the follicles, IDK.. Hopefully someone can help. :flower:

Your post really helped! What mg are you taking if you dont mind me asking? Last cycle was my first cycle off bc and I didnt ovulate till cd39 and then got af cd47. I was taking soy to try to move up ovulation and then b6 to help with lp. Do you remember where it brought your ovulation date to and from last BFP? AND did you get a bfp first month using it?

Hey, I've done 120mg this cycle.

Sorry I'm not very accurate with my timings. It was feb 2010 and I've had a baby since (baby brain is true!) I just know I had my period 15th feb, and got a bfp on 20th march. So I would say it bought ov date to around cd 15?! Yes, I became pregnant from the first month of using soy an have a beautiful baby girl to prove it.

I do have pcos, which is my reason for using soy. As I say I have crazy cycles from 45-70 days!

Please ask me any thing and I will answer where I can

This gives me hope! Thank you so much! I took 80mg cd3&4, 120mg cd5&6, and 160 cd7. Hoping this makes me ovulate much sooner! Started OPKs today--just in case. Dont want to miss it! Thank you for answering!

Please be careful using soy!

It works like clomid - when docs prescribe ou clomid you are monitored on it, this is due to possibilities of over stimulating your ovaries.

When I was 9wks pregnant, I have a cyst rupture on my ovary - v painful! This is basically where my body tried to release 2eggs - one egg was fertilised, the other wasn't released properly resulting in a cyst. So maybe 120mg was too higher dosage.

I'm no expert, but I would say your best to start lower and increase each cycle. They say to double the amount of soy to clomid. They usually start you on 50mg of clomid.

Only reason I did 120mg of soy was because of the size tablets I can buy

Ill shut up now - that's all waffle! Lol

Oh no.. but your fertilized egg was ok right? did that result in your daughter? Crap.. perhaps I shouldnt take the 160mg tomorrow and just stay at 120. I dont want to take a really high mg because I am only trying to increase my ovulation date by a couple weeks, where i know it can help some women an entire month or more early!

Yes, fertilised egg was just fine, I thought I was having a miscarriage. They did an ultrasound and my baby girl had her arms and legs wiggling around!

Ruptured cyst = lots of pain!!

I only take so high dosage cos as I say I have pcos and need a kick to ovulate. You don't seem to have that problem, if I was you I'd stick to 80mg and see what happens. If not improvement this cycle then increase it to 120mg next cycle.

But you must remember you've only just come off bc, so your cycles will be all over the place maybe it's best to let your body do what it needs to for a few cycles - I no, when you decide you want a baby it's the most fristrating thing ever waiting that bfp!!

Several woman have told me that but I figured if I just stuck to a lower but increasing dosage that it wouldnt be so bad. I already took 120mg last night but I think maybe I will actually go down to 80mg.. I dont want to eff things up yet!

That's the danger of taking soy though. If you have normal cycles, or did before bc it can screw them up.

I'd go back to 80mg and see what happens and maybe take nothing next cycle. You need to let your body get back to normal after using bc.

Sorry - I've just realised I sound like I'm preaching!

I'm not meaning to.

Sorry again
