The spots have now spread over his chest and arms, i saw a doctor on tusday about them but he was useless (hv booked m in to see him through triage so not my norm doctor)
He gave me cream to use but didnt seem confident that it would work, also didnt say what they were.

But im wondering if theyre maybe a reaction toa sensitivity to something.
I looked today and they seem to be around the areas where his clothes are, like today hes in a short sleeved romper and the spots on his arms only go as far as his elbows.
So im either thinking the washing powder or the fabric softener.
the powder is non bio and the softener is the sensitive one, but maybe its not sensitive enough??

Ive stopped using it for now to see....

They are quite common in newborns hun, can take up to 8 weeks to go away.

Your finding them where his clothes are because they can be brought on by heat..

My son got a LOT on his cheecks! they lasted for a while, like a couple of weeks!

I know that this is very normal and common!

Try eliminating the softener hun and see if it makes a difference. My middle girl had eczema and the softener seemed to agravate it the most. Surcare was the powder we used as I found it the gentlest :)
