Hi Girls
I am currently 7 weeks pregnant, and have until this point had a relatively easy time of it.
DH and I have had sex several times (gently of course) in this time, and I had never spotted or had any real after effects. Until yesterday.
I started getting a light brown colored discharge while I was at work yesterday, we had had sex the night before. I don't know if the sex had anything to do with it for sure but it's the only thing I could think of.
We decided no more sex for the foreseeable future!
Anyway it hasn't been much really, none on toilet paper but I wear panty liners so enough to make a mark on those. I still have it today, no pain is attached to this at all.
I did panic when I noticed this happening but I keep telling myself it is very common and it's not red at all, but am I right to be worried?

Spotting can be common and mean nothing really. I had just a few hours of very light brown spotting at 10 weeks and I ran to ER. They said it was cervical irritation and everything was fine, by the time I'd got back from the hospital it was gone. So I would say have it checked just for peace of mind :flower:

i called the specialist and he said unless it gets worse or goes red, it is normal to get spotting. He said at least 50% of pregnant women will experience some form of spotting during the 1st trimester. I am not so stressed now!

It's normal to panic and also very common to have spotting! I had a ton first pregnancy and already had a lot this one!
