Our dd is pulling herself on to her feet now. Occasionally she stands on her whole foot but she mostly stands on her tip toes. Apparently when babies start standing they use their toes the most for getting a feel of the floor & finding their balance.

Sounds perfectly normal to me hun

Very normal. The tendon on the back of the legs requires lengthening in order for the leg to remain straight and the foot to be flat to the ground. It will come with time :)
