Starting clomid-December.... Anyone else??

Hi, I am due to start my first cycle of Clomid roughly 10th December.
Would love a buddy or anyone starting around the same time?
To share experiences with.

Very nervous and at same time excited although do not want to get my hopes up.

I have my appointment December 5th and then I will be starting it December 10th as well. Taking it days 3-7. I would love to keep in touch.. This Is my first clomid cycle ever. I have been on metformin for a while now though

Hiya good luck for your first round! Fingers crossed for you.
I have a 3yr old from a previous relationship, and for past 2 1/2yr nearly 3 me and DH have been TTC. When we reached the two year mark we decided to go to the gp for tests. DH was sent for SA which came back normal. So then I start to panic that its me but still timing it can't be I have had a child!
I was sent for a blood test and my LH FsH levels weren't right so we were referred to a fertility specialist. Who ran some more tests, including another SA and more blood tests. Over 4months I had numerous blood tests, the results came back that I wasn't ovulating every month.
I then had to have a HSG to see if tubes were patent or not, it hurt like hell! But they were both open
Then had to wait two months for my consultant appointment and he prescribed Clomid.
How bout you? X

Hey we will be taking it same time then! I am taking it days 2-6 and its my first ever cycle of clomid hoping and praying it works ! Good luck ladies! Will be great to keep in touch xx

Doctors appointment tomorrow morning! I'm a little bit excited.
I know I shouldn't be because clomid may or may not work for me at all but I can't help to think I could get pregnant this month. Damn this hopefulness!

im on cd14 after my first round of clomid that started on the 21st november after being diagnosed with pocs on the 14th november. me and oh have been ttc for 18 months with only one period in that whole time!

althought iv already finished one cycle id love to stay in touch xx

I started my first round of clomid 11/24, CD 3-7. We are currently BDing EOD as per the doctors suggestion. I am using opk's but have yet to get a positive. So far we are just unexplained infertility. Fingers crossed for us all!

Doctors appointment went really well. Picked up my prescription today.. She started me out at 50 mgs of clomid days 5-9 but I'm really thinking I want to do days 3-7 because I want to ovulate on cd 14. Instead of cd 21

Any input?

Im no expert but i dont think it would make a difference so if thats what you feel it best or right for you then go for it, my clomid experience because i had to take mine without a period so i started the day i got my prescription. is this your first time using clomid? best of luck xx

So I started this thread and then failed to keep up with it how lame am I?

Hello ladies hope you are okay? How are things going?
I was due to start my first cycle of clomid yesterday, but yet again the is playing games!
I was told I have anovulatory cycles so not ovulating every month however November I know for sure I did myself
I just want AF to hurry up so I can start the tablets and make 2014 a great year!!
Fingers crossed to all

im 8dpo today due to test on tuesday, iv got until the 19th to get a postive befor i have to start on clomid round 2!

Well the last cycle was a bust! My DH hurt his hand and it became infected (he was hospitalized for 4 days) so he was out of commission during my fertile period. But I did have an ultrasound to confirm the Clomid worked, and it did! By CD15 I had just ovulated. Yay! Trying again this month. Currently CD2. Starting the Clomid again tomorrow, I take mine from CD3-5.

AF is 3 days late for me too. Was supposed to be here on the 8th and it's a no show. Was supposed to be taking my first pill yesterday. How disappointing. Let's hope she shows for the both of us soon

did AF show in the end?

She caught me out on the 13th although I wasn't disheartened for the first time ever I was excited about her arrival! Started taking clomid on the 14th.... Last day tomoro (18th)
My app says I'm due to ovulate around New Year's Eve ;-) this could be fun hehe!!
So opks at the ready!

Nope! AF never showed I started provera to induce a period today. Fingers crossed it works!!

How are you getting on with clomid?
i got loads of negative tests so started clomid early. figured since i dont have a period iv got nothing to loose. in all honesty i had to do it i was loosing my sanity honestly all i did was pee on sticks. i couldnt even control myself!

im on day 3 now 2 more tablets to go!
im taking a new approach this month, im temping (started today)
& iv bought clear blue digital ovulation tests, so im hoping if i get positive on the cheapies to confirm it with the clear blue! we are using conceive plus & soft cups too! xxx

Mind if I join you? I'm taking clomid tomorrow for the first time ever. I'm pretty early in ttc, but was able to identify that I don't ovulate on my own reliably, so here I am. Kinda nervous about it (and about having the side effects over Christmas!), but also glad we identified my problem early.

How's everyone doing?
