Starting Vitex

I am recently diagnosed with PCOS and TTC #2. My doctor has started me on metformin and I recently purchased Vitex as well. How much Vitex are you all taking a day? The recommendations seem all over the place.

I swear by this stuff. I take 1000mg daily (except during AF it makes it heavier)

I am just finishing AF so starting Vitex tomorrow. Hopefully that and metformin do the trick.
