Statutory Maternity Pay Scotland, can anyone help?

I can't get hold of my employers until next week and I was just wondering if any of you are in Scotland what is the standard rate you get as statutory maternity pay? I read on a website it's approx £135 a week, am I right?

I got first 3 months full pay and as of my next wage in 3 weeks I get 3 months half pay plus stat mat pay, followed by 3 months of stat mat pay only so now my full pay is finished I am trying to work out my finances.

I may be wrong but i think the whole of the uk is the same and the figure you quoted sounds about right to me.

I am on smp and its £135.45 per week x

As previous posters have said its 135.45 uk wide I believe- I'm also in Scotland and that's what I get

If u were employed you will get taxed on it. I was when I had DD. Always thought it was crap as on MA its not taxed

Ahhh right that makes sense, I should really check my pay slips lol it is crap, that amount of money gets you know where nowadays!! Xxx

When I was on SMP I got between £500 and £550 a month. xx

I dont get taxed on my smp. Infact i was getting £140 a week for about 14 weeks because i was getting tax paid back. x
