My weaning book says "many mums stop sterilising bowls, spoons etc after the first few weeks"

Do you? When did you stop?

(i will still do bottles if she ever takes one again)

I stopped at about a year, but I think the general rule is when they start moving about, crawling etc, they are starting to pick up more defences against bacteria and stuff.

I sterilise the spoons but not the bowls, i wash them in very hot water but my health visitor said there is no need to so i just havnt ever done it.

I sterilise the bottle every single time due to milk going in them and also his sipy cup but if he is eating fruit etc there probably not 100% clean anyway?
