Sterilizing sippy cups

Do you sterilize sippy cups for milk feeds?

My LO is being a bit funny with the bottle again and only accepting 3ozs a time from it so i tried it by pouring the rest into a sippy cup and she downed the lot but i didnt sterilize it. I just grabbed it and poured it in. I never sterilize it when she has water at dinner times but just wondered if i should for milk???

As long as washed well in hot soapy water I don't see problem, lo over 6 months
