Ok so I'm just going to leave all this info here, sorry if it's tmi. Just hoping maybe someone else has been in the same boat or possibly can understand what I'm going through.
First off, I stopped taking bc the end on January (which I only took for 3 months, my doctor told me it would get rid of my cysts but it only made me more sick) I started going to a hormone specialist and he put me on progesterone suppositories, he said it would get rid of my Pms and cysts, I'm also low thyroid so I'm on armor now.
After I stopped the bc I had a back to back period within two weeks, after that my cycle bounced back to normal.
Being on the progesterone the first month I had 0 Pms until the day I stopped it so my period would start, which it did within 12 hours. And it was a normal period for me and I had moderate pain compared to not being on progesterone, which is usually severe cramping and heavy flow.
So this cycle, for once I didn't have severe pain during ovulation, which it's usually either annoying or debilitating depending on my cysts that cycle.(so I'm not sure when i ovulated this cycle) I didn't notice anything like that, I may have had a twinge one day but it's been a miracle not having swollen ovaries and pain the last month and a half almost.
So the week leading up to the day where I would stop my progesterone to start my period I had the faintest light brown spotting, which never happens mind you, along with many other symptoms, sore breasts, mood swings, my allergies have been insane, etc. and weird twinges and cramps that aren't normal for me to have. Oh also my anxiety has flared up randomly which only happens when I'm ovulating, so I know there is something up with my hormones right now.
So I stop the progesterone on Monday, and I wait and wait and wait... It's now Friday, I still haven't started, the day I "should have" would have been between Monday - Wednesday, beginning Tuesday I only had more light brown spotting, Wednesday it was slightly more but only when I wiped, some sticky some watery (so sorry) which is usually how it is towards the end of my period, so I've been waiting to see red which I haven't, before each period I always get a tiny bit of brown and within an hour I've started bleeding full blown:.(or first thing the next morning with horrible cramps and nausea) So Thursday and now today the spotting has completely stopped for the most part, maybe the faintest tint of brown, but only because I'm looking way too closely when I wipe, which I've been peeing like every hour haha.
This whole week I've had a mixture of twinges, pulling, feeling like a balloon is slowly filling up in my gut, feeling pangs like I have a side ache momentarily then it stops, my right hip is sore all the way through to my back which feels swollen, and just around my belly button and my hips feels sore like I've been working out or something, my boobs are sore, and on and off I get waves of nausea and dizziness. Last night I woke up randomly feeling nauseous with a pounding headache and i felt like I was burning up, I rubbed some peppermint oil on my neck, turned the air on and soon passed out waking up to feel normal, and later now I feel dizzy and nauseous on and off, food sounds horrible and just so many other things. I still have this weird tingling tightness in my lower gut, it's always more on the sides though. Also a weird taste in my mouth on and off which is making food I normally like taste weird, and I've been craving food I usually don't want..
I know this is so much information I just am at a loss of what to do, I have tested 4 times now and all have been negative over the last 4 days.. I have a follow up appointment with my hormone Doctor on Wednesday which was conveniently already scheduled. Has anyone else dealt with similar issues and ended up getting a bfp later? My close friend said it took her 4 weeks.. But my other friends who have babies said it was within a week...my husband is convinced I'm pregnant but I just don't want to get my hopes up again..
