I don't know why all the baby websites say we should be feeling an "energy surge" in the 2nd tri. I'm at 22 weeks and I STILL feel tired, maybe not as totally exhausted as in the 1st, but I still want a nap at lunchtime pretty often. Anyone else feeling tired? Should I be worried?

I'm nearly 15 weeks and am more tired now than I ever was in first tri, I was sound asleep by 8.30 last night and could probably doze off now

I firmly believe there is no second tri second wind when you have a toddler. ANNNNDDDDDD I see a cute little girl in your profile pic, so i think you have what i have. I cant even imagine how tired i will be when the baby is born and im chasing my son around with a newborn strapped to the front of me. god help us...

Yes! I can't imagine. Or bedtime with a Terrible Two and a baby. It's true, the constant attention can be draining when all you want to do is put your feet up in the evening.

Yeah I'm almost 16 weeks and still feeling tired. Saw a consultant yesterday about my hypothyroid meds, but my dosage is fine, so it's not my thyroid. When I mentioned that I still feel pretty tired most of the time she said: well, you're pregnant and have 2 little ones!! Which makes sense. Especially since they get up early and if I wake up at night I tend to struggle going back to sleep. I'm not as tired as I was in first tri, but definitely still tired!
