Stopping Breastfeeding

Hi there,

So my lo is coming up to 10 months old and for the past month or so I have been slowly weaning him off of breastfeeding.
I have been doing it very gradually and on this past Thursday was the last time I fed him.
Well today, 2 days after feeding him my boobs are quite hard and quite tender!

Does anyone know how long this will last for and what I should do to prevent mastitis and if there is anything I can do to make myself a little more comfortable?
I don't want to do anything to encourage milk supply obviously but even carrying my lo with him pressed against me is quite painful!
