Stressed!!!!!

The photographer I WAS going to hire takes the piss!

I told him I couldn't pay the full deposit til payday so he said I could put £100 down to secure the date at the time then pay the other £150 on payday a week later...

Payday came and I emailed him to ask who do I write the cheque to and send it to as I gave him cash in hand the first time...No response.

Emailed and rang several times since, this was nearly 2 weeks ago! He said he would ring me last saturday as he was at a wedding...Im tempted just to find someone else at this rate! He obviously doesn't want my money!

This makes me so angry. I am always really upfront with clients and if I don't want the booking or know I can't do it, I just say. Better to be upfront and honest than to stress and upset people and damage your reputation.

I am so sorry he has done this hun and I like you would be tempted to get someone else booked. If he is like this now, what might he be like nearer the time?

this sucks! i would not rely on him and find someone else ;-)

We are not even having a photographer now as we were going over budget, so we are asking guests to capture the day in their own way and then give us the pics.
Not ideal but we had to cut back on some things and this was one of them x

Im gonna give him until tomorrow, then that would be 2 weeks. All the good/reasonably priced photgraphers I've enquired about in the meantime are booked for that date, so bloody annoyed!
