Stretch Marks!!!???!!

Any moms out there who've had stretch marks from pregnancy? I'm 29 weeks along and I only have stretch marks on my love handles, which have been there for as long as I can remember because as a teenager my weight fluctuated a lot, and only like 2 marks have come that are new. I haven't gotten any on my belly, but I know I will. I fear it is inevitable. But I was curious, do they ever go away???? I'm still young!!! Haha. I know I'm dreaming, to think I could have a baby and not get stretch marks. lol. Oh wells. The things we do for our little love bugs!

I did i got them with my son at 38 weeks pregnant! My whole stomach ended up covered in them! Now they are silvery and not noticable unless i get a tan, im hoping i manage not to get them this time round because i already them wishful thinking! Im using lots of bio oil!

I already had a few before my babie's because like you I was up and down with my weight when I was a teen. I got very few new stretchmarks with my first baby, and am convinced it's because my skin was already quite stretchy. I probably had one or two new ones for my second and third child, and so far no new ones from this baby. Tbh I feel VERY lucky considering this is my 4th pregnancy and I have got away so lightly, I have seen womens tums after one baby who have way more than me.

I reckon it is down to genes, heres hoping all you ladies have good genes and avoid any bad stretchmarks!

well i had twins the first time.. so i think i was destin to be screwed in the stretchmark dept... mine were BAD with them... i have some that indent so bad.. i can literally put my pinky finger in the divit that is the stretch mark... LOVELY huh!!! this time around.. Ehh i dont care

Mine have arrived in the last 2 weeks. They aren't dark tho and only on the bottom of my bump, but with 9 weeks left imagine they will get worse. I am smothering with bio oil still. Bothered me at first but nothing I can do about them xx

I got stretchies right at the end, just at the bottom of my bump and the tops of my legs...they are quite bad now i have no bump I just hope they fade, but even if they don't, my little man is worth it

I am a bit gutted tho lol

Awe. I'm thinking they'll come for me at the end. Oh well I suppose. I already knew the risks of stretch marks before getting pregnant! Haha.
