:hissy::hissy: Stan played hooky from work today  And we went out for a family day. Every where we went people crowded into the elevators (ahead of us of course). Why can't people use the bloody escalators!?!? :hissy: :hissy: is it really that hard to walk to them??? One of the times Stan couldn't even get on the elevator with us, so Hannah and I crowded in and he had to go down via the escalator

This happens all the time to us too. Annoying huh :( xXx

Oh and your avatar is gorgeous!!
Very intellectual little miss you have there :) xXx

VERY!! And than on the streetcar, there's ONE spot to put your stroller that's it. This guy would not move. So the stroller was in everyone's way. We blocked him in though so he had problems getting off :smug:

Ugh, what I hate the most is that people huff and puff and roll their eyes at me when the elevator is too crowded because they are too lazy to use the escalator. :grr:

I hate when people do that! The other day there was a group of teens the rushed in ahead of me and then there was no room for me and Kathryn! I was so steamed, they were perfectly capable of taking the escalator, or dare I say it, stairs! I would take them if I could. Also when people who don't have babies park in the infant parking spot at the grocery store I go to. Then I have to lug Kathryn and my diaper bag much farther; but last week I caught these young guys getting in their car (they were parked in the infant parking spot) and I let them have it :trouble:

This really annoys me too. But it annoys me even more when we're out with my Mum and she's in her wheelchair and they still do it! She runs over their toes... hehe!

that annoys me so much, what is so hard about taking the escalator, i hate lifts i would much prefer escalator but i cant, how lazy are they ffs the escalator moves for them and they are to lazy to even take that lol

got really annoyed yesterday when I went into the elevator, there was an older man there with a walker, and 2 young women crowded in--making Stan have to take the escalator. The old man gets off before the rest of us and they start complaining about him smelling bad :saywhat: They didn't even need to be on the elevator FFS the older man did! :hissy:

That's just plain selfish and immature. Unless it's like a Sunday at an empty mall, who the heck crowds an elevator when people with strollers and wheelchairs need it more, and there are escalators!!

Yep, we had this in London last week. There's my sister with her baby and stroller and me on crutches and pregnant and still people barge in front. Grrr. At least my Mum made my other (lazy) sister take the escalator with her because she seemed to think she should come in the lift with us...

Totally agree with you!

I think I have developed 'buggy rage' since becoming a mum! So many things annoy me when I am out with the buggy:

1) the elevator thing you have mentioned - especially when you get a gaggle of teenage girls leaping ahead of you into them - why can't they use the escalators or ... shock, horror, the stairs?

2) those irritating small elevators you get for going up one floor - you know the ones I mean, the ones you have to keep your finger on the button the whole time. I hate them! The annoying thing is that if you are about to get out and someone presses it in the floor below, you start to go down again. I remember last week I spent about five minutes going up and down it, with this scary old woman swearing at me from above!

3) Buses that have steps not the lowered floors. Especially those ones that have steps and a barrier down the middle. How on earth are buggies and wheelchairs supposed to get on? And they are supposed to be making public transport more appealing to reduce carbon footprints and all that.

4) Oh - and bus drivers who start to drive off without giving you enough time to park your buggy and put the brake on.

5) People who step in front of your buggy and when you bump into them and sigh really loudly when you apologise (even when it is their fault).

6) Trying to get your buggy into supposedly child friendly chain coffee stores like Starbucks or Costa, when they have stairs into the place and no room round the tables - or even worse, when all their tables and chairs are upstairs and they have no elevators enabling you to go upstairs.

Aaaaaaagggghhhhh!!!

I am also developing LAT

...which is 'Low Asshole Tolerance'

xxx

Ive only been out with my pram twice so far.... have yet to experience all of this! I dont think Ill attempt public transport with it.
