Strong cramps after ET

13 DPO, my temp is up, no cramping and no spotting this morning I was getting my hopes up but… bfn. I guess it's quite clear now but I will continue hoping for a miracle up until I get my blood test results tomorrow.

bettybee, do you know what estrogen is for in LH?

Erm estrogen is too supprt your lining as well and is vitial embie too implant not everywhere gives it !
If you have little stims
They don't norally give it

I had it has my periods in my last 2 cycles have come far too early !!! Xxx

bettybee, do you think your AF came early on the two previous IVF cycles cos of additional estrogen?

No sorry my other 2 I was only on 400 mg prog
No estrogen !
They think coz I get so many eggs & follicles around 16 eggs 40+ follicles that my estrogen levels just plummet after ec !

Hopefully this time they don't ! X

40+ follicles!!! I cannot imagine how that feels! I have one follicle and it can be quite sensitive… poor you!

which are more sensitive pregnancy tests 10miu or 25 miu? Am I right to think that the lower the mlu ie:10 the earlier it's supposed to pick the pregnancy up?

bettybee, thanks! I am really bad at spotting the lines I just cant see it. Sometimes I look through testing threads and people post pictures and everyone gets excited but I can never figure out what it is they see cos I cant see it. So i wont be surprised if you could see a line on my 10mlu I never usually test and just wait for AF cos it's never late, if anything it's early. I started testing early with this IVF cycle cos I wanted to prepare myself for disappointment. I just did another test and the line came up but very slowly and well after 3 minutes and it's really faint, not sure if it's accurate. I guess I just need to be patient and wait for my blood test but at least now i have a hope. This morning things looked really gloomy.

Bettybee My average luteal phase (from when I was temping last year) is around 13-14 days too. Last ivf I didn't get AF till 2 days after I stopped my progesterone (when i got bfn on OTD)! I'm still on cyclogest twice daily so i don't know what's going on this time!!
Briss if I'm reading correctly, you got a bfp today? Yay!!! A line is a line so I guess your spotting was a good sign after all!

I got BFN again today at 7dp5dt - not hopeful as I've been bleeding quite heavily for 2 days now.

Goldfish, I got a really faint line with first response and 4 other tests were negative. I am very hopeful and scared of tomorrow's blood test. fingers crossed.

cramping is still there on and off, spotting is very minor (a few drops on the liner in the whole day) but it does not stop.

bad news for me, my beta came back as 8.3, too low to call it positive. They were very direct and told me that unfortunately they see it as negative. I am to repeat the test on Friday and they expect I get a completely negative result. They did not want to give me false hope and said with these low levels this is just not good news. the only positive fact is that there was an attempt at implantation but unfortunately not successful.

it is very positive that it has tried to implant also your level could off been higher a couple of days ago you just don't know ?

also at 14dpo -15dpo my hcg was only 55mlu with my dd you never know

bettybee, thank you. I did ask if there was any hope but they said the levels are just too low. they expect to see something closer to 100. I know ladies were getting 30 and carried healthy pregnancies but with 8.3 it's just hopeless.

I'm still bleeding (a bit lighter than the past 2 days) and got another BFN. tomorrow is OTD so i decided to buy a FRER (especially after reading what Briss wrote about doing 5 differ tests!). Don't feel hopeful but gotta go through with it just in case.

I started cramping 2 hours post transfer. During the transfer my RE said once the eggs are in they will start communicating with the walls of the uterus and if all goes well, will implant. I cramped on and off from 2 hours post transfer to week 16! Pregnant with twins. Sometimes my cramps were so bad I thought for sure it was all over. But things are going well. I'd say cramping so soon after transfer is a very good sign. There is "communication" going on in there. Good luck!!!

i guess in my case cramping was also a sign that my embryo was communicating with the lining and was trying to attach but was not successful hence the chemical. I also had little bit of spotting since 10 DPO. Since 10 DPO I also had a different type of pain, not like cramping but more like localised dull pain, it was not strong but it was constant. My second beta dropped to 1.7, so officially negative. I stopped progesterone and got my AF.
