Struggling to upload photos

It always says 'upload failed' when I try to add a photo to a post. I have zipped up the file to make it smaller (JPEG image) but it still doesnt work

any ideas please?

Solution!

Open the pic in paint and save it form there. It will be a lot smaller.

If you're not sure where paint is stored on your computer. Click start and search for 'paint' and you can open it from the search results xx

Try again - I've changed a server setting so larger files can be uploaded

Nope..still no go. pic sz is 119x123 pixels and 26kb.

LOL - you were uploading a profile picture (the picture that goes on your profile) rather than an avatar (which is the picture that goes on each post)
