Sttn????

My LO was still waking through the night twice to feed at that age! Only just started going 6.30/7pm until 5am every morning, feeds, then back to sleep until 7am. Ferber believes that healthy, term babies CAN go through at least 10 hours from 3 months. Think of this what you will! xx

I'm a big Ferber fan, but I think his advice on night feedings is off base. Marc Weissbluth, whose research is more updated, has found that most babies need two night feeds until around 6 months old (usually midnight/4am) and one feeding (usually around 3am) until 9-12 months old.

Here's a nice link illustrated which experts believe what. I think the current general consensus is similar to what Weissbluth describes:

Rhys actually stopped all night feeds but the dream feed at 10 by 4 months of age. He still woke up often until close to a year though :coffee: His sleep is better now unless he is teething and than we are up every 45 minutes to an hour

ETA: Now at 12 months he roughly goes from 7 at night to anywhere from 5:30-7 in the morning
