Stupid PlayStation 3

So all my fiance wants for Christmas is a $600 PS3 (plus tax), so my 6 month pregnant @$$ was going to wait in line 15 hours for it, but I had classes to go to. So I have been online all night looking for a stupid online store that sells them. They go live in the US midnight Oct 17th, well it's 11:49 here in MN, and it was midnight in NY 39 min ago, but I can't find one anywhere, I am going NUTYY!

at least they stock them where u are. the release date for them over here was supposed to be the 17th november (i think) but now they arent being released till next year.

my ex(feels so weird sayin tht) wanted 1 of these 4 xmas, and they cost bout £500 over here and are £60 a game(well wot they will be after its released!!!) the new release date here is march sometime.

they come out here today, at the walmart (i guess that would be like your guys tesco maybe?? dept store type thing anyways ) by my house i heard this lady asking if there was a line up for them and i gues there isn't i'm shocked in a way but not really in another way i can't personally see myself spending almost 600$ on a game system...although maybe i would if i HAD 600$ pmsl

People would be much better off getting th Wii for now and then getting the Playstation 3 in a couple of months when the price is reduced and the stock is bountiful.

Personally my Oh playstation 2 is as ggod as it gets round here for now

Getting a Wii is a nightmare too. Im number 21 on the waiting list for one at Virgin. And I went in every big store first, and none of them even know how many they are getting in for the launch and how many or when they will get any after that. So they are all willy nilly taking deposits ut not guaranteing anyone getting them before Xmas! They had this with the Xox 360 too aparently, had a load of people in waiting list with deposits paid, then on the day they got delivered a total of . . . . .



. . . . 4!

Why do all the console makers have to been so caggy abbout a new release?? Do they not want to sell them of something???
