Hi ladies ,
So.... I am in love with reading success stories and looking at 's so I decided to start this thread for people like myself who are interested in trying :hugs:, who have never heard of them  and are just looking for a new regimen :paper:, and/or have had success with diva/soft cups :wohoo:. I just ordered mine and they've been delivered to my house :yipee:. Needless to say I cant wait to get home and check them out. I've been reading a lot about ppl who have had success on the first try when they have been trying for months and months. Please feel free to post all of your stories here to give myself and other ladies a positive outlook. If you're posting a success story please give as much detail as possible, like meds/herbs you were on, when and how long you used them, ect. Congrats, good luck, and lots of :dust:ladies

I use soft cups...no success yet...but they are easy to use & def make things easier & a lot less messy.

I was going to try them but I have an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation so often sex just makes me too sore to keep something like that in. I can't even wear tampons anymore.
I was considering having the husband masturbate into a cup them putting it in the softcup and inserting it.
I opted instead to try at home insemination and go straight to sleep. Normally I would have sex but I was really sore that night.

I was TTC for 2 years, I have PCOS and my DH has low count and motility (16 million and 28% motility), I used soft cups on 3 monitored cycles of letrozole and we had no luck but we conceived using a soft cup on a natural cycle 3 months later :) or at least I think the conception :sex: was the soft cup one! :haha:

I would really recommend them anyway, they're so good for not making any mess! I actually just popped that one in to save a mess, I didn't even know I was going to ovulate that weekend (irregular cycles) so it was just luck!

good luck :hugs:

It worked it worked!!! The softcups worked!! Well with a combo of epo, vitex, prenatal and of course, the softcups. Im floating in the clouds right now. :cloud9:

I just had a friend of mine suggest using these as an aid. Seeing that they worked for the OP on the first try...I'm gonna go visit amazon now. Can't hurt to try right.

prayn4twins, how long had you been TTC before trying softcups?

I just bought a pack of these after reading this and other reviews. My biggest problem will be my DW - any advice anyone can give me on what and how we use these? I assume we do the deed and then carefully put this in? We haven't tried yet but she isn't too keen on using this and I'm hoping to convince her we should be.

I have been using them the last two cycles along with IUI's. I haven't had success yet but I can honestly say they are great for decreasing the mess and I don't feel like I have to lay down for a while after, I can slip it in and get up.

Congratulations prayn!! Isn't it surreal??! I'm so happy for you. I was in no way LTTC but Softcups worked for us the first cycle we tried them as well! Softcups should really publicize this somehow...

Hiya Ladies :winkwink:,
I went mia for a little bit, sorry, but thanks for all the responses. I def think these miracle cups should be publicized more because they are amazing :img:. I had unexplained fertility :shrug:and instead of coughing up thousands of dollars on fertility treatments, I decided to try these. Although, treatments were going to be my next step :haha:. Hubby and I have been ttc for 3 long, depressing years with 2 mc's in the process :sadangel:. I had tried everything! Macca, vitex, epo, clomid, prenatal, ect. The funny thing is, my chart doesnt match up to my ga, go figure :dohh:. I am 5w3d and had my first ultrasound yesterday and guess what!!! They saw a heartbeat :yipee::wohoo:. The tech could not believe her eyes , she said "I have been doing this for 30+ years and I have NEVER seen or heard a heartbeat this soon :happydance:. Naturally I couldnt contain myself and :sad2:. It's been a long journey and I wasnt expecting to see anything, let alone a heartbeat. GL and Praying for all of you ladies.:dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust:

Just ordered mine. Can't hurt to try. What's $50 when the next step is IVF... FX for everyone and big congrats prayn4twins! Xxx

Sounds like these are quite popular, can anyone give me tips on using them?

I'm using home insemination with a donor so I could put his donation into the cup and insert it but I'm worried about spilling it out, is this likely?

Otherwise, if I was to insert the donation into me, in the equivalent of having sex, then put the soft cup in, how would I know the soft cup is keeping the semen in place? I can't picture how it works, I worry that the semen would be pooled on one side of my cervix and when I put the soft cup in, it doesn't capture any of the semen up there. I can't quite explain what I mean properly.

Burrr I had the same mental confusions:wacko:. I watched a video on youtube and its literally exactly how it works. The cup seems pretty big when you first get it but it fits right behind the pelvic bone and almost kind of "snap" into place covering the cervix and holding it right there. I have heard of people inserting the semen into the cup and then inserting the cup into the vag, however I let hubby make a deposit and then I placed the cup inside. I WOULD recommend practicing inserting the cup before the real deal just so you can get a feel of it. Its really simple once you get used to it.

Thank you, I decided to try some with my period to test them out and it's a bit hit and miss. I feel like they're in the right place but one of them leaked, so I'm not sure if it was in place. I'll keep going with them during my period to see if I get better with them.

I'll look up some videos too, see if that clears it up for me!

after reading this thread I decided to buy one as well. should arrive just in time for ovulation this cycle.
