Suddenly feeding every 3 hours through the night again????

Alfie is 7 weeks old and is fed expressed breast milk.

We had been doing really well up to last night, he had been going progressively longer and longer through the night up to about 8 hours sometimes but usually at least 6.

Last night it all went to pot and we reverted back to new born baby feeding, he had a bottle at 11, 2, 5 and 8! He didn't drain any of them, leaving about 10mls each time.

Do you think this might be the start of a growth spurt? Is 7 weeks a usual time for him to have one and if so how long will it last I was beginning to get used to at least 6 hours kip in a row

Yep, Niamh had one at 7 weeks and it lasted for about 5 days. She was waking a couple of times a night to feed.

Yep a growth spurt from 6-8 weeks. Though Byron's lasted about 4 weeks altogether!

Carmen is 6 weeks old and is also waking every 3 hours for feeds. Before this she was only waking once a night. I am hoping this doesn't become a habit!!! Boobs have no idea what's going on!
