Does this mean gd?
Or can it happen in preg without it?
Thanks xxx

Ketones can definitely "just happen". I always had some in precious pregnancies but passed any GD tests and no one was concerned. I'm afraid I don't know about sugars though. Did your midwife not comment?

Having glucose in your urine would usually mean they'd test you for GD. I had it from 16 weeks in my first pregnancy. They gave me an ordinary blood test which came back fine (I've since found out that it's not a reliable way to test for GD) and I was finally sent for a GTT at 28 weeks and diagnosed.
This time I didn't have any glucose in my urine but still tested positive for GD.

Thanks ladies xx
It was me doing the tests :)
I'm at my Drs now
But pretty sure its uti cos its only leukocytes today.
And I was testing cos I thought I had uti anyway

Hve antibiotic now for uti.
She said one off sugar could just be leaky kidneys in pregnancy.
But was doing 2 hr glucose test next week anyway
So good enough timing :)

Good luck on the GD test!
I have GD (and am possibly pre-diabetic with genetic factors). Its no fun, and a lot of work but well worth it for a healthy baby.

Thanks kiwiberry.
Hope things continue to go well for u and bub xxx
