I had a scan at what i thought was 6+2 which showed 2 sacs measuring 3mm each (indicating a 4-5 week pregnancy maximum

) had another scan 4 days later (6+6) which again showed two sacs, one measuring 5mm and one measuring 7mm with possible early amnion development in both, went back a week after that (7+6) and again two sacs, both had grown but not a lot and there was definitely something in one of them but the sonographer couldn't define it enough to be sure what it was so here we are...waiting another week for another scan to find out if our twin pregnancy is going to work out.
It is such a stressful and nerve-wracking time and the professionals we have dealt with, although all lovely have all varied widely in their opinion of what is happening, the sonographers have been quite positive, saying it's still early days and i might not be as far along as i think, the nurses and Drs have been much less positive (because i have slow rising HCG levels too

) so we just have to wait and see.
This thread has helped me to feel a bit more positive though as it sounds like uncertain results from scans are very common at these early stages, and i do believe it is perfectly possible i ov'd late as i wasn't charting etc at all and have only recently come off BCP. The only thing i am sure of though is that i got a positive test on the 9th November so was definitely pregnant already by then!!!!
