Surviving "couch rest" with a 1 year old?

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm on "couch rest" due to bleeding... I'm only 15 weeks and this looks like it could be a LONG 6 months. Anyone have ideas/experience?

Does he play well on his own? If so it shouldn't be epically horrible (if you have an enclosed area!)
Just provide lots of different interesting toys each day, even put rice/pasta in bottles etc

It hopefully won't be like this for your entire pregnancy. But ask for help from friends and family. Get some educational apps on your phone. Try pinterest for activity ideas. And ask your OH to set up some things for you that are easily accessed i.e on a top shelf for you to play with during the day, ie rainbow rice/paint squirted into plastic wallets and stuck to the window/homemade playdough/etc. Good luck x
