Over the last couple of weeks my skin has been so dry and itchy! Head to toe! I am having to moisturise morning, noon n night! I should have shares in Dove! Problem is... My scalp is havin the same problem! Now I have a bottle of t-gel which I used every now and again, pre-preggo, as I do get dry scalp every couple of mths. I don't have the box and I vaguely remember it sayin something about pregnancy on it?

Has anyone used it, or do use it? After 2 washes I'll probably be fine but if there is a risk I sorta wanna check first...

Thanks

I've found this:

There are no studies to demonstrate the safety of Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo in human pregnancy. It is recommended that Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo is not used during pregnancy or while breast-feeding, unless the risks and benefits have been evaluated and discussed with a physician.

Thanks. I've seen that too... But as it due to lack of study I was hoping a load of people say "I've used it, I'm fine!" lol. Guess I'll have to keep itching n flaking n not wear black for now... Lol. Thanks again! :flower:

Oops. I've been using it.... But my GP prescribed it!

My scalp is reay dry and head & shoulders is just making it worse (and makes my scalp really sting!). Had a wee look for another antidandruff the last time I was in the supermarket but there's a serious lack of options!

I used T gel throughout my last two pregnancies and now... I didnt encounter any problems. :)
like you H&S also made my dandruff worse! T gel is the only stuff that works for me... I only use ot 2-3 times per week.

I got stupidly sensitive skin. Have done since my first baby... He threw me right out of wack! Head and shoulders makes my scalp worse, my hair greasy and I get spots all in my hairline and on my back. T Gel is ok so long as I wash with my head over and make sure I wash it all off my skin.. Hmm... I'm confused!!! If I'm not havin constant use I can't see it causing harm? Surely?

I have been using baby shampoo to try to keep my head dandruff free- I have eczema and am allergic to most anti dandruff shampoos- causing more flakes :( I like InfaDerm, it's designed for babies with eczema, but I have only been able to find it at Asda.

I may give it a go... Thanks. My hair is as fussy as my skin so it might help in one way and not the other but gotta b worth a shot! I did use t gel this morning tho.. My head feels better already
