I really like the name Tabitha -- i think it's pretty, not very commonly used, yet a name everyone has heard before.
I think people associated it as a cat's name bc a "tabby" is another name for a cat/type of cat... and i have heard it used as a cat's name a few times....
Who cares what other people think, besides it will be different once the name suits someone.
Attitudes on names change if they are overwritten.
My neighbour just had a Tabitha so people do use it.
I want to use my DH's ex's name, sure family will screw their faces up but 1-its been 7 years since they split and 2-if we do call baby that name it will overide and not be associated anymore-right?
