Taking less milk...

H is being weaned early due to reflux, he seems to be cutting down the amount of milk he takes from his "breakfast" bottle. I will make him baby rice or porridge with his milk and then feed him the rest of the bottle after.

I really can't remember what O did as he was weaned at 16 weeks due to reflux

Do it the other way around. Make a bottle but keep some to one side and then use whats left to make the rice up. If you give solids first then lo wont be hungry enough to take the milk which is more important at that age.
