Talia?

I would love to hear your thoughts! We have a long list of names and would unique name for our girl, and we both think the name "Talia" is pretty - it's is actually hubby's top pick right now (though he would be happy with many!). It has a couple of meanings - "Heaven's dew" in Hebrew and "blooming" in Greek...but we are neither of these ethnicities. Do you think this matters? What do you think of "Talia" overall for a little girl or grown woman? Do you have any experience with it?

It's just ok to me, honestly. I feel like people would call her Tally and that's just not for me.
It's definitely not awful though!

I love the name Talia! It was on our short list with DD, and will be on our short list if we have another little girl. I've only heard the name once on a tv show DF and I watch, but I think it's pretty easily pronounced and spelled.

I love the name Talia. I grew up with a Talia and she was either called her full name or 'Tal'.

I like it a lot. I wouldn't worry about ethnicities... I wouldn't have had any association with it if you didn't tell us the background of the name.

I know a woman named Talia and she's very artsy, so that's what I imagine.

Talia is cute, I like it! I don't get a Tally vibe at all. Tally and Talia have a different 'a' sound for me. Talia I say like the end of Natalia. Tally ryhmes with belly.
