Thanks for all your thoughts on "Talia"! You have all really helped to set my mind at ease about it and it's origins etc (though that shouldn't technically matter, it hard not to think about it once you know!). I also see it as slightly artsy, and "cool"...so that helps

It doesn't give off an "ethnic" vibe so I feel like it passes well. The sounds in the name match up with a lot of English names.

It reminds me of Talia Castellano, a beautiful girl who passed last year following her battle with cancer. I think she was 13. She was just so freakin' spunky, had a great spirit. She was known on youtube and in the makeup-loving community for her looks, tutorials and slogan "makeup is my wig". She was seriously talented!
