Hi, ive just received some money which i'll be using to buy the pram with. I picked the pram when i was just 6 weeks. I'm 6ft 2 and chose the silvercross 3D

now i have the money to buy it im starting to wonder if it'll look daft. I originally wanted the silvercross linear as it was bigger and had great height adjustable handles but it was 2cm too long to fit in the car :dohh:

my main consern with the 3d is that when its in the lie down position for when baby is first born. it looks as though baby will be miles away from me. My mum says im being daft, but something just doesnt feel right so i thought i'd ask others to see what they had.

is it that you're worried that the handles will be low? i saw a couple the other day who were both very tall, and they had the stokke pram, it looked like it suited them perfectly xx

yeah mainly. the silvercross 3d has height adjustable handles which made it better, but it just felt like the baby would be miles away from me

id go back to the shop and have another play with it. Also try out a few others and see if you feel better about the height etc.

xx

hi! I'm 5foot 8 but my OH is 6foot 3, so i went for the red kite storm 3in1. This is the highest carry cot i've seen. Where as the rest i looked at (which is a lot) looked really far down and close to floor an through time will start hurting the back bending over like that. The one we got has the adjustable handle so comes right up for oh, and goes down for me :)

sound good. i'll have a look at that. thanks

the trenton pram is bloody tall,
kinda like a value buggy from mothercare, but im 5 foot and it looks so much bigger than me lol babys pretty high up if that makes sense

we have a stokke im 5ft7 but oh is 6ft 3 and it works fab the baby is really high up and nearer and the handle is easy to move up and down quickly depending whos pushing there a bit pricey but def worth there money

i like the look of the trenton the stokke looks funny though. might look better in the flesh. i'll have to have a proper look next weekend. shame we've only got mothercare to look at

Would definitly look at getting a stokke if you are tall, i would love one but im very small and cant afford a stokke :( boo x

Also have a look at the britax smart 3 or 4 wheeler hon the handle adjusts all the way to 107cm which is one of the highest I have ever seen :) The seat unit is quite an high one too!

I am 5'9 and OH is 6'3 and we have the Stokke too it just fitted us perfectly!
