Tax rebates?

I got a letter on the 15th telling me i am due a £373 rebate. Now, on researching many people said they got a cheque seperately to the letter.

Has anyone had a rebate and how long did it take for the cheque to show up?

hmmmm i had a tax rebate for the same amount pretty much and it went straight into my account. I recieved the letter to tell me that about a week after!

I got my letter about 2 weeks ago and still waiting but my friend got her letter a few days before me and got her cheque this morning

I think it can vary, I had one recently I had the letter saying it would be in my account in the next few days then it was in there the following week x

do you know if all employees on maternity pay gets a tax rebate and if so do you have to contact tax office or do they just contact you?

We've just had to fill out tax forms.. So I'm praying that we get a bit of luck and have some sort of rebate.. *Wishful thinking!* Knowing our luck recently we'll end up owing

I had a rebate and it was paid directly into my account before I even received the letter
