Team Baby for 2012 - over 35's

I have some funny mental pictures going on concerning OH and trying to get BD in. Thanks, I really am on a mission to get this going. Would LOVE a BFP on my birthday at the end of May!

Grace....if all else fails...Can he can visit you at work? Perhaps there is a broom closet somewhere?:haha:

Annoying really as he has a different GP from me, think if we had same she would have organised it today  I am sure it will be a nightmare for him to sort out...would be so much easier for me to do it and for him to just give me the sample etc...he is very shy so getting him to phone his GP and explain everything will be a trauma!!

So my advice would be to anyone worried, make an appointment, I thought I would get turned away and didn't even though we have only been trying since September 2010. I def get the feeling she wants to push things through before I hit 41!

So glad I read this today! The hubby called for an appt and was told his GP left the practice. I will tell him to use mine! He prefers male docs and I prefer female docs, but I am sure he'll go for it in order to avoid future aggravation.

Hello ladies,

The :witch: got me today for sure. My cycle was 25 days this month and 34 days last month. But one of my friends told me that it is just trying to get back on track after MC. I hope it goes back to 30 days. But we shall see.

Go for it Indigo!!! I wish I had gone a bit sooner :winkwink: If nothing else, I hope that knowing someone else is looking into things will just give me a BFP au naturelle

Glowstar: LOL! I'm running the lab by myself so, ah, yep. Could be arranged!:haha:

Ready4OneMore: Sorry the witch caught you early. Hope this next cycle is much better for you. :hugs:

Indigo: Well that just fell into your hands! Hope your DH feels comfortable changing Dr's and gets going quick with the SA testing!

Will also arrange for OH to get a SA within next couple of months if no success. Annoying really as he has a different GP from me, think if we had same she would have organised it today  I am sure it will be a nightmare for him to sort out...would be so much easier for me to do it and for him to just give me the sample etc...he is very shy so getting him to phone his GP and explain everything will be a trauma!!
I had my DH talk to his GP about a SA and he said wait a year first (despite our ages). So I talked to my GP and she thought the best first step would be for a SA so she wrote out the requisition for my DH. Of course it may be easier to sort out the paperwork since both of our GP's work at the same clinic :) Said SA is happening tomorrow BTW. Hoping it will be revealing...

Oh, good Velo, nice to get the SA out of the way ASAP. Hope his swimmers are Herculean! :spermy:

Why on earth would his GP want to wait a year? :dohh:

It's great that you are being proactive...

Velo! I'm glad your dh is getting s/a done tomorrow. :)

Velo - Hope all goes well with the SA!

Ready - Sorry about AF, FX's for next month! :hugs:

Indigo - Good luck getting the SA done!

I told DH about Maca Tuesday after reading about it on here. He read up on it and ordered it from Amazon that night! I feel very fortunate to have a DH who is as eager as I am to try whatever we can to make this work!

Excellent that you have a supportive hubby

Well got a BFN on my test today and no reason not to believe it plus the last fortnight since ovulating as been so stressed with renovations on my home so thought this may not be my month. But surprisingly I'm ok with it and just want the AF :witch: to get her visit over with so I can move onto cycle 2 :)

Lyvid- that is awesome that your hubby to do whatever it takes.:hugs: My hubs is on a lot of vits because he has low motility/morphology. He doesn't complain and takes anything I add to the mix.

Indigo77- GL with your dh's s/a.:hugs:

My hubs is on a lot of vits because he has low motility/morphology. He doesn't complain and takes anything I add to the mix.

Hi, my hubby's SA result were poor so I did some nosing around and spoke to our GP (with DH present) to check whether it was ok to give the supplements (he's got diabetes non-insulin dependant) and we were given the all clear and he's on:
Co Enzyme Q10; maca root; folic acid, omega-3 fish oil and a supplement called pycnogenol. We're getting another SA done in 2 months to see if there is any improvement from his last set of results.

Macwooly, thank you so much! I have dh on everything but the maca root, but he is taking fertilaid with all the other supplements. I will have to check if there is maca root and if not, I will add that in too. My dh is also taking Royal Jelly & Pollen in Honey (Y.S. Organic Bee Farm). so am I. it is supposed to help with a womans egg quality/ help men with the :spermy:
Hopefully, all these sups will help our dh's.:hugs::hugs:

I didn't know about Royal Jelly for men I will get extra for hubby :)

I have just got some in for me to start taking when AF shows up which feels like tonight with the cramps I've got.

Just a word on the maca root - it's called nature's viagra :D
