Team Baby for 2012 - over 35's

I've made a Dr's appointment for tomorrow. We have been trying since I had the implant removed September...first AF November but we did try prior to AF but not sure if that counts.

It's an appointment with a Jnr Doctor...although she is female and she might be easily swayed I've printed all my charts off to take with me, though from what I have heard a lot of them aren't interested in them.
I suppose I should feel lucky as I know I can have children but it's been a long time since I had my last (1998). I wasn't on BC for years until mid 2009 and always had regular cycles I could even feel ovulation every month. I had colposcopy treatment for level CN3 pre-cancerous cells in May 2009 since then and having the implant in (total of 13 months) my cycles are back to normal but I don't really feel ovulation like I used to and I never get any pain from my left ovary at all...wondering if that side is even working

I'll let you know what they say but fully prepared for them to say go away and come back in 6 months

I hope all goes well with the specialist.

For those ladies who discussed Vitex and Soy I came across something today which made for interesting reading but it wasn't a medical journal or anything:

apparently you shouldn't take soy and Vitex in the same month as apparently they can counteract each other and therefore neither will work.

Thanks LLBean but about 30 minutes ago I started to get really bad cramps so think AF is about to visit - but I am really ok with it - I've got my BBT thermometer, supplements for me and DH, found a new supplement for DH's so I'm sort of excited about a new cycle.

Also if I get AF and then get my BFP next cycle it would mean my due date would be around the date of my deceased darling dad's birthday which would be so cool

well if you get it today we will both be on the same track LOL

Funny you should mention the date thing... had I gotten pregnant this month my due date would have been my dearest grandmother's birthday (also deceased)

Sorry, are you waiting to OV ? Maybe you meant CD22.. if so it's still early and could very well mean BFP for you this month

Sorry, are you waiting to OV ? Maybe you meant CD22.. if so it's still early and could very well mean BFP for you this month

Oops I meant 12DPO. LOL But it looks like the witch is coming about 4-5 days earlier than normal. Last month she was 4-6 days late. I give up.

DH has said knowing our luck I will get a BFP as I am totallly prepared and accepting for AF to visit and in the last few days and today I've spent money on a BBT thermometer, books about fertility and supplements

Wouldn't that be a scream, though? I keep telling myself I should just buy 100HPT's and 50 OPK's off Amazon. THAT should do the trick!
