Teen mom 2

Haha, I don't know if I really want to get into it, but I will say that it was for the "True Life" series and I'm so glad I didn't make the final cut. All the stupid stuff I did as a teenager is embarrassing enough just in my head without it being immortalized in TV footage to be seen the world over

I felt horrible for Jenelle's mom, she is doing Heroin now? The mom found a syringe and a bag of heroin in the apartment. I think Keifer is a big part of this. Jenelle is going in a bad direction, pot is one thing, but Heroin ? OMG :nope:

I agree! I couldn't believe it..

Her mom starts to trust her with Gary, Then that goes down hill she's back with kieffer doing Herion.. crazy crazy.

She should never get jace back now, she's effing messed up.

Ooh as exciting as it would be to know a famous person ;) you're probably right that it was a lucky escape! You must be more wild than me, no way would MTV have found much to do a show on even when I was a teenager!

I actually have a soft spot for Jenelle's mom. I know she is a bit ... shouty and no doubt winds Jenelle up, but my goodness she's stuck by that girl through thick and thin and taken her back every time, and encouraged her in her own way to get clean and help with Jace. I know that's probably normal mother stuff but I think she needs a medal...

Dear Jenelle: It's YOUR fault that you don't have custody of Jace. Yours. Not your mom's.

Bananaz, are you sure you wouldn't want a bunch of strangers throwing in their two cents on every televised detail of your life? C'mon.....!

I just got done watching yesterday's episode and uhm, were Keiffer and Jenelle high when they were sitting on the couch at the end of the episode! It seemed totally obvious, she was so out of it!
And did anyone catch that at the beginning Kailyn said she was still on summer leave, but when Javi left it was December. :dohh:

Erg, I'm only 37 minutes in! I'm all confused with the timeline editing, too.

I know, such a shame :nope: Maybe if they decide to do an episode called "True Life: I'm Addicted to Mommy Forums" I'll throw my hat in the ring again.

Now time to go make dinner and watch the new episode!

Bananaz I am now dying to know how come you were nearly a reality tv star!!

Me too! What shows?

One of them was True Life, I'm not saying what the topic was though :haha:

I actually can't remember the other one. It wasn't one of their big series. I didn't make it very far in the casting process for that one.

The editing is really pants on teen mom. Just silly things like at the beginning of a conversation their hair is one way and by the end it's been highlighted. Or the nail varnish will change. Or you'll see one of the kids finishing their food, then later in the 'same' conversation the kid will suddenly have a plate full of food again! It's pretty funny but also makes me totally doubt half of what I'm watching :haha:

I'm not a Kailyn fan at all, but that scene between her and Javi, when Javi puts Isaac down to sleep and starts crying, really got me. It made me think so much of my fiance. He took care of a kid that isn't his for a long time because the father wasn't around. His ex left him to rekindle things with that kid's father when he came back around, but we still take him on occasional weekends. Then, the crying about being far away made me think of when my fiance and I were long distance. The first time he came to Texas, the day he left, I was so miserable. I cried so much and it got to him as well. When I came up here last April, though, he said that got to him more when he left. Again, not the hugest Kailyn fan, but the scene with Javi putting Isaac down for sleep and then crying and then the distance thing on top of it. It got me pretty bad. I was kind of glad my fiance offered to work an hour late for work so he didn't see me crying. Haha. The Kieffer/Jenelle thing was horrible. Kieffer is such a horrible person. Barbara can be, well, Barbara. The time where Barbara was yelling and Jenelle left the house and said I'm not going to argue with you is how Jenelle should handle it, ALL THE TIME. However, Kieffer has totally warped Jenelle's perception of people and family in that episode. When Kieffer says that her family is where 90% of the drama comes from, I wanted to scream. There was an episode where Kieffer backtalks Barbara that my fiance just couldn't handle. He thinks Jenelle shouldn't be allowed to have kids, at all. Not just Jace, but future children too. The scene where Jace cries (not in this episode) because mommy's leaving eats my fiance up pretty hardcore.

The scene where Javi was leaving for basic training got me too because I've been in that exact situation. I remember when DH left for basic training like it was yesterday. And when he deployed. Very tough situation, so I feel for her and him. Actually made me tear up.

Oh man that was a rough episode.

I think Jenelle and Kieffer were high through the whole thing. So freaking sad. I also feel bad for Barbara, I can only imagine how difficult it is to watch your daughter throw her life away like that :(

The Javi leaving scene was tough, I bet that hit really close to home for you, Jessica! I really like Javi, he seems like a thoroughly decent guy. I find it strange that Kailyn and Jo can talk casually over lunch about how she's going to move away and take Isaac with her.

The part that really got to me was when they went to get Ali from her muscle biopsy. Seeing her whimpering and reaching for mommy actually made me start tearing up. I'm tearing up even writing about it, haha. I guess it just reminded me of my LO.

The scene with Ali is another reason I am glad my fiance wasn't home for the episode. Stuff like that really gets him too. Not only that, but the way they transitioned from Kailyn and Javi to Corey crying. It was like too much at once.

That is how I know they are doing Heroin. See how the eyes were closed and they were drifting in and out of consciousness .. So sad, I can't believe she is doing this.. Very sad :nope:

Honestly I do NOT think it is going to last between Javi & Kailyn. I personally feel he is to good for her, she is very aggressive. She is a good mom and is responsible, but I just don't think it is going to last.. Leah i think is a fantastic mom so is Chelsea.. :flower:

Has Ali got a diagnosis that has been aired in the US? Nothing has ever been mentioned but we are of course miles behind. I adore those twins, I could hardly watch that first ever times she had an anaesthetic for a scan when she was tiny / heartbreaking x
