I am 10dpo and I was wandering if u have to have a noticeable bbt rise to be pregnant as I haveny had one :( Thanks

Hi - I was wondering the same. An initial temp rise after O is a sign that you actually O'd. But my temps are not as high this month as other months (normally reach 36.8 but only 36.4 this month). I wonder if this is a bad sign?
I think your temps keep going up if you're preggers and then remain high.

Okay I'm not an expert on BBT but I'm pretty sure they go up and stay up if you're pregnant because progesterone increases. Typically your BBT drops a day or two before AFs arrival.

I hope that helps a bit. Good luck to you both!

Oh and I'm not sure if I'm pregnant or not but I did notice an increase in my temperature today and the two days before that by a full degree. AF was due yesterday but didn't show. If that makes you feel a little more optimistic about whether or not you could be.

As long as your BBT stays above your coverline, then you're ok. Mine fluctuated up & down, but stayed above my coverline the whole time.
